ABOUT US
The Gateway Off-Road Cyclists was founded in 1998 by a handful of St Charles area mountain bikers. GORC’s first project involved the design and construction of a bicycle/hiking trail in a new St Charles County Park – Matson Hill. Since then, GORC have developed over 100 miles of cross country style hiking and biking trails in the greater St Louis area. The GORC organization has continued to grow over the years and in 2020 alone, loggged 8,000 volunteer hours maintaining and improving the multi-use network of trails.
GORC Gravity was formed in 2019 to work in collaboration with Gateway Off-Road Cyclists. We identify, consult and connect towns and counties to sustainable, environmentally viable and economically beneficial trails and mountain bike parks.
