BLUFF VIEW GRAVITY EXTENSION
Client: City of Wildwood
Scope: $25,000 raised by GORC Trails
Services: Design, Consulting, Construction
Trail Builder: GORC & GORC Gravity volunteers
Overview: The Bluff View trail is an existing multi directional hiking and biking trail that is very popular amongst both groups. The purpose of the project is to provide more one directional biking trails while giving hikers a separate trail to use, improving usability and safety for both groups. The Bluff View extension will see the construction of a 35 foot hub, 4-6 foot in height that marks the beginning for a kids skills area and strider park, cross country skills and learning trail, a jump line with a short return and a one directional downhill flow trail.
Phase II plans include further development of the area with more one directional trails and a possible dual slalom.
All funds for the project are being raised by GORC Trails and each trail will be built as funds become available.
