Overview: GORC Gravity developed a master plan to construct a multi-skill mountain bike park that would target all levels of riders. Its purpose was to be family friendly, easily accessible and allow visitors to progress their skills from beginner to advanced. GORC Gravity worked closely in conjunction with the City of Eureka Aldermen and the Mayor to get the project initiated from ground up. We also connected professional trail builders who were contracted to build professional level features throughout the park. Currently the park is seeing 50-60 visitors to the park each day on a weekend (weather permitting) and is drawing on people from 1-1.5hrs away.
Phase II is in the proposal stage and will connect the current Eureka Mountain Bike Park with an existing underground tunnel to an area across the road. It’s purpose is to provide an additional all weather skills area and include an adventure park with a bike park focus. This site is 1-4 acres in size and aims to draw 100-200 visitors a day on the weekends from a 5-8hr radius. The proposed value of Phase II is $500,000.
